Humphries Aviation is based in Houston, Texas. We typically fly out of Houston Southwest Airport, KAXH, on the south side of Houston.

But we’ll come to you, in Houston or otherwise, for instruction, tours, ferries, photography, or flying of any kind!

Houston enjoys great flying weather most of the year. Houston’s prevailing wind is out of the southeast, driven largely by the Bermuda-Azores High, a semi-permanent high atmospheric pressure system in the Atlantic. We average over 200 sunny days a year.
