“We’ve known Scott for more than 15 years but never had the chance to fly with him until now. In looking for something to do with my high school senior for his birthday, we joined Scott on a one-hour Houston tour. We enjoyed the experience from the start, with an introduction to the airplane and watching Scott perform his pre-flight checks. Scott has the wealth of knowledge you’d expect from someone that’s been flying for nearly 30 years, and he truly enjoys answering all the questions you can throw at him.
While I enjoyed the view, took photos, and chatted via headset from a second-row seat, my son sat up front in the co-pilot seat. We spent most of our flight just below 2000 feet, which was perfect for seeing the familiar sights of NRG stadium, Rice University, downtown Houston, flying down the I-10 corridor and then on to the San Jacinto Monument. Scott explained the flight controls to my son and for a portion of flight let him take control of the airplane. Believe it or not, I was much less nervous than when I let him drive on the freeway for the first time. He did great, and neither of us will soon forget the amazing experience. In fact, I'm not sure I could come up with an hour-long experience that my son and I would have enjoyed more. We look forward to our next flight, and I just need to figure out how to convince my son to let me sit up front with Scott!”
